AmmoPack is locally owned, operated, and manufactured by hand in Peoria, Arizona by a family of 2A supporters and active shooting enthusiasts. As Arizona natives, we have spent countless hours finding the best ranges and areas to shoot in a safe environment, and we have found some truly incredible places. Many of these places can be difficult to get to, and having boxes of ammo rattling around in the back of the truck not only creates an unpleasant sound, but is also incredible unsafe.

In addition to AmmoPack, we also operate a licensed, bonded, and insured general contracting company specializing in residential and commercial renovations. As a result, there are many random Milwaukee tools, accessories, and Packouts floating around the warehouse. This gave us the idea that instead of storing all of the trays that come with the Packouts in a bin in the corner, maybe there is another use. That is when I thought, wait a minute, these Packouts are IP65 Weather Rated, readily available, affordable, lockable, and after years of being used and abused at jobsites they rarely show any sign of wear and tear. I wondered if there was a way to utilize a trusted and reliable product we love to make our shooting hobby a bit more convenient. So we created the first prototypes of the AmmoPack.

After many months of trial and error, we have engineered the final versions of AmmoPack. Our inserts fit perfectly in the Milwaukee bins that come with the Packout Organizers. Ammo is held in place with the perfect balance between ease of removability and friction to avoid movement, reducing the likelihood of damage during travel. With the IP65 rating and ability to be secured with a lock, the AmmoPack can be stored inside the cab or bed of the truck and also presents the ability to store ammo long-term in any conditions. We also noticed that after putting the prototypes of the AmmoPack through rigorous testing, we would rarely bring cardboard boxes of ammo to our shooting areas, reducing the amount of trash generated while out exploring. We also used the AmmoPack to ensure we picked up all of our brass, making sure the area was cleaner when we left than when we got there. For those who reload, it is also a convenient solution keep track of spent brass, keep it clean, and serve as a convenient storage option while reloading.

Overall, the AmmoPack has so many benefits for those who enjoy the outdoors and participate in any shooting sports. From ensuring our ammo is safe and protected from bumps in the road and weather to reducing the potential for littering in some of Arizona's beautiful landscapes.
